New arrival: ICHOS loudspeakers from Austria arrived

We are very glad to announce that the first ICHOS speakers arrived in the USA. Ichos loudspeakers are handmade from top to bottom in the city of music - Vienna, Austria.

Ichos' design follows a very minimalistic approach with wideband drivers in back-loaded horns, augmented by tweeters. The absence of a crossover makes Ichos speakers very detailed with explosive dynamics. All construction elements are produced with closest tolerances according to the designer Robert Rothleitner's specifications. The entire range of loudspeakers is a genuine Austrian hand-made, labor-intensive product.

Gregitek's new CL1 LP is an LP Clamp/Weight designed to dissipate vibrations.

The middle part of the CL1 LP is a dynamic damper (dynamic energy dissipator), similar to Gregitek’s Stab1 platform and Stabtower component rack. It sits on a spring and can wobble freely up and down and counteracts vibrations entering the LP Clamp. By turning the upper part left or right, the dynamic damper tightens or loosens which allows you to fine tune the sound. The US retail price is $395.

Introducing Audio Magic's new Ultimate SHD Beeswax Fuse. We didn't think it could be any better but the new "Ultimate" is world class and then some! Now using a push-pull I-Core design instead of the single Core and Audio Magic upgraded the Black Out powder mixture for a broader noise absorption parameter.

The new Ultimate is extremely difficult to build considering Audio Magic is drilling into both sides of the fuse now, sometimes it takes up to 3 tries to get one good fuse - lots of labor involved. This fuse will give you tighter bass and yet sound relaxed - very natural sounding. The sound stage will become bigger and deeper, more detailed, better layering, better micro detail but with a relaxed musical presentation. We're very glad to announce that highend-electronics has been appointed as US importer and distributor for ICHOS Hi-End  loudspeakers.

ICHOS loudspeakers are hand made in Vienna, Austria and follow a very different approach. ICHOS speakers use specially treated wideband drivers with an internal  back-loaded horn facing down. The proprietary dipole tweeter sits on top and augments the high frequencies. The absence of a crossover results in exceptional macro- and micro-dynamics, speed and details.
