The new Atmosphere SX power cord series consists of four different models - Alive SX  (Level 1), Excite SX (Level 2), Euphoria SX and Euphoria SX High Current (Level 3). Similar to the Atmosphere SX signal cables, these power cables incorporate new UEF Matrix shielding, Purple fuse conditioning process, improved 1,000,000 volt Quantum tunnel process and SRX trickle-down technology.

Also featuring Graphene implementation in its third generation. Graphene has the highest current density in the world of any material making it a near “superconductor” at room temperature!

Graphene imparts performance characteristics not found in other power cables. These new Atmosphere SX AC cords also include built-in UEF filters and internal power supplies for Active Shield biasing of the cable WITHOUT the need for an external power supply. Simply plug and play like conventional passive power cords. These AC cords are flexible and thinner than older SR AC cords.

The Atmosphere Alive SX AC Power Cable is the highest performance non-Active power cord in SR history, upgraded with a new High Voltage Long Duration conditioning process first developed for the flagship SRX cable loom; the same conditioning process that makes our exceptional Purple Fuses possible. And bespoke to Atmosphere SX are new Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs placed strategically within the power cord for enhanced detail and musicality. To make Alive SX sound as natural as possible, SR employes strategic use of pure copper, tungsten, and a Silver Matrix Alloy, so three different metals, each chosen for a combined balance that sounds natural and musical.

Excite SX has an actively biased shield powered by an inboard power supply with an internal UEF Ground plane for an ultra-low noise floor. Active Shielding means Excite SX has a lower noise floor than would be possible with passive Shielding of this complex multi-geometry power cord. Excite SX expands on Alive SX’s use of pure 6-9 Silver, Tungsten, and Silver Matrix conductors with additional geometries for improved dynamics and resolution. And to raise the bar further, SR applied the new High-Frequency High Voltage Long Duration conditioning process first developed for the SRX cable loom and used to make the new Purple Fuses possible. SR then internally voiced Excite SX with new Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs engineered to voice the Atmosphere SX loom with increased resolution and musicality without high-frequency fatigue.

In this pursuit, SR employes all SR power cord technologies including, Active Shielding, the option to ground its shield to a star ground point or SR Ground Block, and Galileo SX tuning bullets for a bespoke sonic match to your system. All conductors, wall and IEC connectors, shields, and the same Swiss-Made power supply found in SR's Galileo SX power cords are further treated with a proprietary process to improve frequency smoothness with increased resolution. Sonically Euphoria SX is voiced to express a sonic balance similar to our Galileo SX power cords through the use of Copper Matrix Alloys, 6-9 Silver conductors in a complex geometry array comprised of three hand-made Air String geometries and three High Current geometries running in parallel. In addition, Active Shielding gets its power from a Swiss Made power supply feeding the shields and an Active EM Cell that was first developed for Galileo SX power cords to function as discrete PowerCell line conditioners.
