Galileo LUX USB was developed with the same design intention that guides the entire LUX series: a presentation where resolution and musicality exist in natural harmony. But USB digital transfer carries its own strict requirements for impedance, timing, and signal integrity. For this reason, the ribbon laminate architecture used throughout the analog loom is not employed here. Instead, we designed a geometry true to the USB protocol—engineered from the ground up to support stable impedance, low jitter, and clean digital transitions.
Within this structure, the conductors are crafted from pure 6N silver selected for its superior conductivity and minimal energy storage, giving the cable the speed and clarity digital playback demands. Surrounding this geometry, a carefully developed UEF compound interacts with the digital field, shaping the boundary conditions through which the signal propagates. This tuning refines how microdetail, spatial cues, and harmonic information are expressed once the data stream is converted back into music.
The result is a USB cable that carries the unmistakable character of Galileo LUX: effortless resolution, natural musical flow, and an expansive sound field that feels calm, open, and beautifully coherent. It honors the precision digital audio requires—while revealing the emotional truth that only LUX can deliver.
6N Pure Silver Air-strings and Pure Silver Ribbon Laminate
While voicing Galileo LUX, we applied the same disciplined approach used in our reference designs—employing pure silver in both the ribbon laminate and multi-gauge Air-String conductors for its superior conductivity, low energy storage, and natural harmonic integrity. This combination delivers speed, texture, and tonal refinement with a stability that reflects the intent behind the loom.

Review of the predecessor Galileo SX. Howard Kneller of SoundStage Ultra (April 2019) wrote:"...the Galileo SXes may well set a new high bar for audio-cable performance. Further, while at first glance their geometries are more similar to than different from those of the Galileo UEFs, the SXes considerably outperformed the older cables... I’m smitten with the sound of Synergistic Research’s Galileo SXes: breathtakingly lively, exciting, and dynamic, yet gorgeously rich, musical, and accurately full-bodied. They are definite contenders for the designation 'the state of the art'..." CLICK HERE to read the entire review
