Synergistic Research Galileo Discovery Phono Cables
Galileo Discovery Phono Cables
Galileo Discovery Phono is the most complex phono cable in Galileo decade-long history. Handmade in SR's California factory from pure six-nines silver with 4 x 99.9999% Silver Air Strings RCA and an impressive 6 x 99.9999% Silver Air Strings XLR plus graphene- a near superconductor at room temperature. SR then adds SRX level UEF filters comprised of precious metals selected in blind testing for their harmonic completeness with graphene and SRX UEF Tech for the lowest noise floor and highest resolution possible without fatigue or loss of musicality. Additional SRX UEF Tech is applied in a grid pattern to the shield for improved noise rejection. SR then treats Galileo Discovery Phono with the same conditioning process developed for the Purple Fuses and SRX cable loom for resolution and musicality you must hear to appreciate. Galileo Discovery Phono comes standard with SRX Gold and Silver Tuning Circuits so you can voice them to match your system while gaining a great deal of the SRX sound.
Lee Scoggins of Part-Time Audiophile concluded (September 2019):
"...it’s not a bold claim to say that this cable handily meets my four conditions, so let me go farther: the Synergistic Research Galileo SX is the clearest, most musical phono cable I have ever used in my reference system. Beyond expectation, this cable has transformed my analog playback. It is my new reference for what my record player is capable of, and as such, it earns my highest recommendation..." "...the Galileo SXes may well set a new high bar for audio-cable performance. Further, while at first glance their geometries are more similar to than different from those of the Galileo UEFs, the SXes considerably outperformed the older cables... I’m smitten with the sound of Synergistic Research’s Galileo SXes: breathtakingly lively, exciting, and dynamic, yet gorgeously rich, musical, and accurately full-bodied. They are definite contenders for the designation 'the state of the art'..."
