Even though from the outside it looks just like the original E2 - the typical Valvet understatement, the inside is much improved. The E2se is a rare breed - a Class-A, single-ended, solid-state, dual-mono amp using only one single transistor per channel in the output stage. The E2se delivers 12 watts into 8 Ohm (20W/4Ohm) but these watts are from the finest. MSRP is $3990.
