Shun Mook's experience with ebony material led to the development of a phono cartridge whose body and internal parts were all made from a specially treated black ebony. In order to make the tiny parts, no cost is spared to obtain micro machines to fabricate the Shun Mook parts.
Shun Mook works closely with ZYX Corp of Japan and use their best R-1000 engine as the cord of the cartridge. Each unit is then painstakingly tuned by actual listening in Shun Mook's preference Hi Fi system. This process usually takes about 20 hours. For analog fanatics this is a cartridge to behold.
